The streak is over

I couldn't bear it any longer.

I dressed to run this morning then changed into work clothes to make in time for a bowls selection committee meeting (Capital One and Champs).

At 5 p.m. I headed home and ignored all distractions and made it out on the roads before it turned dark and dropped six quick ones around the lake. I could sense I have been absent lately.

Now I'm ready for the Turkey Trot.

I think I sense the same thing even when I follow the plan to the T.

P.S. I will do the best I can to hold Lisa and her to do list at bay.

I sat on the exercise bike this evening, and could tell that I've been gone since the race.

It's good to be back.

That must have been a long 7 days. I'm usually quite agitated after a 5 day work week without any running.

bowls selection committee??? Sounds like one of the more fun civic duties around.

Glad you dropped the six...you're back in the groove....
