OKAY!

Okay, Okay, OKAY! The word "probably" was my word; not hers. She used her hands to signal quotation marks when she said the word bronchitis. I believe her. It seems like bronchitis and the steroids are working fairly well. No more tightness. And I will not run 13.1 on Sunday .... unless I can't help myself :)

I'm not surprised the steroids are helping you breath. They are opening up your clogged and constricted airways. I just hope that is the correct diagnoses. The old "bronchitis" thing is scarier than 'probably' because what it really means is "I have no idea but this might help".

I'm glad you are not running on Sunday and I hope your medical practioner made a good guess and you get better.

David, I totally empathize. I had to bow out of the Vegas Half-Marathon back in January 2005 because I came down with an especially virulent case of the flu. Take care of yourself, and your body will be rebound and go faster in the next race.
